Beware of using this company - over-promised and under-delivered. Rep Patrick was slick and convincing when quoting to repair and re-upholster our 8 tub chairs but it went downhill from there. They had the items for 2 months, and it took multiple calls to get responses, to be fobbed off with excuses. The chairs superficially looked ok when they were finally delivered, but we soon found they were shoddily repaired - screws missing, sharp tacks protruding, and dodgy packers installed. I am an upholstery business "Nicole's Upholstery" and patrick contacted me to do work for him. Even though he has written on a sign "NO OUTSIDE CONTRACTORS USED" what a joke..do yourself a favour people and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, so fraudulent and im still chasing him for payment of my last invoice..overcharges to line his pockets and gives his contractors bare minimum..apparently closing his doors now so do not give him your money as he will rip you off..stick with your local small business

Using Carton was one of my biggest mistakes, I wished I'd never come across them. Anyone thinking about using them please do your research first.

My mum had her 25 year old lounge recovered recently by Carleton Upholstery and the result was amazing. Patrick was very accommodating and reliable and the workmanship of the staff was brilliant. We would recommend this company going by our experience in dealing with them and the end result.

I recently had several pieces of vintage furniture reupholstered, including a Parker two seater sofa, a Van Treigh grandfather chair and numerous cushions for other chairs and couches. The chair and sofa are stunning. The workmanship is impeccable. The cushions for the dining suite were slightly too large, but Patrick took them back corrected the cut. They look fantastic. Overall, I’m very happy with the work of Carleton Custom Upholstery.
