"My first experience with Carla Primo was not a good one. She interrupted me quite a bit. She asked me one question about my son, I said I didn't know altogether why he acts as he does. She said, " you know, you have enough insight to answer that question. " No, I don't & my son is not the one in the session. This woman totally freaked me out when she had somehow managed to pull up my voting record to see whether or not I had already voted in the early election, the date & place i had voted, and also what my political association was, after asking me lots of personal questions and then trying to convince me of who I should vote for... and why. I never felt more uncomfortable in my life.

In May of 2024, my husband and I who are in a bi-racial marriage had the opportunity to speak with Carla. Our initial discussion went well. She seemed to be a direct and straight to the point therapist. However, during our next session, she began to peel off the ugliness of her attitude by advising my husband on financial matters if we were to seek a divorce. We found Carla, and she truly worked miracles. From the very first session, she created a safe, non-judgmental space where both of us felt heard and understood. Carla wasn’t afraid to be tough on us when we needed it, holding us accountable and pushing us to confront the difficult issues we’d been avoiding. I saw Carla every week for about 5 months. She showed up to appointments on time, and was pretty intelligent. She was mostly nice, and gave mostly good advice. Time was used to the fully, conversations flowed and did not feel forced. I rarely ever felt attacked.
