What can be said about Carl's donuts... Awesome and amazing... from the maple bar to the Old fashion with chocolate.. yummy and smiles...
Realistically, this would be a 4.5 Star. I went in for Natl Donut day two years in a row. The staff there is excited, very friendly, and they have a great system. The young lady running the checkout was quick and knew her stuff. The line, while long, moved quickly, and then we were in and out. The reason for this being 4.5 stars, was just about personal taste. Absolutely delicious pastries! The man behind the counter telling me about each item I inquired about was very knowledgeable and friendly and really sold the food! I got the Meat Lover's Egg Scramble, the Strawberries and Cream Croissant, and the seasonal Lavender Vanilla Late. The croissants are fresh, airy, and crispy, the cream in the strawberries croissant wasn't too sweet and was really light, and the latte was a perfect balance of the lavender and vanilla without being too sweet.
