We hired Carl Cornwell several months back . Anytime I had questions or concerns he would call me back asap and answer my questions . He will not sugar coat anything but always tells us the truth . He knew exactly what to do and kept us posted on our son's case . He is the best criminal defense attorney , yet is friendly and compassionate too . I hired this attorney for my son, he did no favors for us at all! He lied about outcomes pertaining to the case, told my son to lie about certain events. At best it seemed he was out to do nothing for him & at worst like he thought my son should be further punished & sought to ensure just that. I wouldn’t recommend that Carl be anyone’s attorney, he shouldn’t even be an attorney, his license should be revoked!
DO NOT USE! Ineffective counsel! Update: Mr Cornwell did such a bad job. Darrells 42 year sentence was pardoned by the Missouri governor. You can read about it in the St. Louis post. Carl Cornwell is not anything close to being the lawyer he supposedly once was. He had to have paid these people to write these reviews because the Carl Cornwell that I retained and gave all my money to was nothing more than a liar dressed in an expensive suit.
