Terrible facility. Please do not send your loved ones here. Dirty, unhygienic rooms. Understaffed. Poor safety standards. Multiple issues with concerns over medical care, mental and physical wellbeing.
I have been in transition between Hospital and Home for 5 months and can report Carinya has a dedicated, caring group of staff from Facility Manager Faith Nursing Staff Lavinia and Bella and all assistants, I was made very welcome and felt well at home. Congratulations all. Sorry, special mention for Tandin and Lewis - Thanks guys
Great group physio
I was an inpatient at Carinya. I believe this facility was purchased earlier this year by St Jude, who will have a massive job to bring it back from squalor. In my personal opinion, this facility was not fit for use. ****The only outstanding service was the terrific efforts and dedication of Physio and Occupational Therapy**** It will take me too long to relay everything, so I'll limit my words:flying cockroaches in bedroom; dirty linen and blankets on my bed when admitted; inedible & unidentifiable food; excrement smears in... read more
