Never followed up with me for 3-4 weeks. When I called again to inquire what happened, she said the didn't have any caregivers who can use a lift. She said she would speak to a supervisor and call me back.
My wife has an exceptional care giver from Caring Companions. Her name is Sharee. She comes 18 hours a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.She bathes, assists with going to the bathroom, helps make her breakfast and lunch and other tasks as they come up through the day. She is a blessing to have and allows me to do other things like grocery shop, go to doctors appointments and other miscellaneous tasks. Sharee is a great representative for Caring Companions. I had a very extensive and complicated cancer surgery at NYU hospital on Manhattan. My surgeon advised that I would need wound care to assist with the healing process. Caring Companions was the only visiting nurse service in South Jersey that was willing to provide the care that the doctor required. This is a wonderful and very professional company. Supervisor and RN Lisa is knowledgeable, compassionate and accessible. When I called her I was extremely concerned as we had terrible experiences from other agencies in the past. Lisa promptly came to meet us at the hospital where my father was admitted.
