I just found out about this service. I had a colonoscopy done at University of Alberta Hospital. They told me what time they would pick me up having estimated the time for the procedure. They were right on time. Very smooth ride. The driver was courteous and helpful. Asked me if I wanted him to hold my bag. Amazing customer service. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend.

I called Care For A Ride since I needed a ride home from day surgery. I am not a senior, but their website says they now help everyone. I needed a ride from the Fort Saskatchewan hospital to my home in Fort Saskatchewan, since the hospital would not let me take a taxi. The hospital actually recommended this place to me. Their website says they serve ALL surrounding areas of Edmonton, but I was told that they won’t drive me within Fort Saskatchewan as it’s not worth their while to dispatch someone from Edmonton to pick me up.... read more
