Cardinal Bicycle + Cafe is more than a bicycle shop, it’s a great place to stop and have a cold beverage after a ride on one of the trails / Greenway that Roanoke offers. The Cardinal Cafe offers good quality food from waffles to premium meats on their sandwiches and you have to try their Soro salad with perfectly cooked salmon. My bike had been in storage and I couldnt get the tires to hold air. I called them from the greenway near by.....they told me to come on in and they would check it out. I was in and out in 15 minutes and no charge. I even asked if I needed anything else and the guy I was working with said my brakes could use a little adjusting but he wasn't trying to sell me anything....and just try it out and come back if I wanted to get an adjustment. For what I do, they are good for now. But, come winter I will definitely be taking it in ... read more
Very friendly and helpful staff. They took the time to explain everything we’d need to repair our bikes. Plus, one guy went out of his way to grab a small plastic piece we needed from his own personal parts bin in his truck! Bonus: the food and drinks are delicious.
Service department is very professional and takes excellent care of all my bikes. Comprehensive evaluation, spot on estimate of service and good communication through text, calls etc. Food at the cafe is not typical lunch counter food but rather healthy gourmet fare.
