While I do not like paying high taxes, the people at the treasurers office have been fantastic, responsive, competent, and just plain Great! If only they could reduce the taxes...
Horrible experience paying land taxes. I made the initiative to call up as I hadn’t seen the invoice to pay taxes. I called up and they had an old address on file. I had moved. Got that updated. When I went to pay they said there was a $27 late fee for paying late. I thought the date was 12-15 but they said it was 11-30-21. With moving and being a week late, it’s an understandable situation to drop the fee. They said they would Not drop the fee, and she has a stack of papers on her desk that because they were a day late, she... read more
