The workers were nice and helpful when I visited the new location, I was told they were forced out of their old location because of condos. Which I understand. They also told me they do the same thing that they always have. They may have the same products. But it most certainly isn't the same thing as before. Before they had a literal entire warehouse that you could spend hours in. Now they have a warehouse where you could spend a couple of minutes in and see everything. Granted it had been many, many years since I visited Caravati’s, but my trip to the Ashland location today was super disappointing. I loved the feel of the old place and this curated space felt very HGTV / Magnolia Network. The ‘warehouse’ had a fraction of what they used to. Then I headed to Governor’s and thankfully they still have a massive inventory in a fun indoor / outdoor space to poke around.
