We booked a morning dolphin cruise prior to our vacation, but the morning of our reservation, we accidentally locked our keys in our van! We called and Captain Mark kindly rescheduled us (we were visiting in the off season, so that may not always be possible). He updated the booking so we received email confirmation and were texted parking tips specific to an event going on that day. I had a very disappointing experience with Captain Mark Dolphin Cruise. The biggest issue was the location and parking instructions. The link provided in the confirmation email directed us to the cruise location itself, not the actual parking area, which made it extremely difficult to find where we needed to go. On top of that, the parking lot was completely full, and the entrance to the harbor was crowded with multiple temporary vendor stalls, making it very hard to navigate — especially while carrying a toddler. If you’re looking to see dolphins, I highly recommend Captain Mark’s Dolphin Cruise—especially the Sunset Cruise. The daytime can get pretty hot, especially when it’s in the 90s, so the cooler evening breeze made our trip much more enjoyable. We went on a breezy day and had a great time. Dolphins swam right alongside the boat, which was amazing to see up close.
