August 26,2026 I went to Captain Jay's to get a large fried okra for the $5.49 with lemon pepper and it was burnt🔥 A restaurant is only as good as the chef.And this chef here needs to be fired , he's totally incompetent. I will never go there again.
We bought 30 wings and fries. We asked for lemon pepper on both. They fried up the food fresh and hot with the lemon pepper like we like it. This will be our Captain Jay's location. We tried the others in the area and they failed miserably.

I really enjoyed this place. The fish was hot, fresh, seasoned, and fried just right. The price was just right too!
