Mary Beth is fantastic.
Gary does a great job of portraying Benjamin Edes, the co-owner of The Boston Gazette and my great great great great grandfather! I am very grateful that he has made my family history come alive! This spot is definitely worth a visit as you travel the Freedom Trail.
We visited on a Wednesday in mid-June 2025. We honestly walked in here thinking it was part of the Old North Church but it's actually a small Free History Exhibit and had a sign "Heritage Gift Shop" on the outside. There were small red foot steps painted on the side walk that left from the gate area over to the store. You can walk through the exhibit and pop out into the court yard area. I'm not sure if they are associated with the Old North Church at all and we didn't ask. There was one staff person who was at the counter o... read more
