Welcome Aboard!!!!!. The Capt. JP II is by far, the largest and most lavish cruise vessel, in the Capital District. It is a four deck cruise ship, certified by the US Coast Guard to accommodate 600 passengers, and seat in excess of 500 people comfortably. The Capt. What a shame! I have been on the Captain JP many times from 2009-2019 and always had an amazing time. This years Halloween Booze cruise was horrific. The “new” boat was a huge disappointment. It is basically an office building with uncomfortably low ceilings floating on the Hudson. The old one felt grand. It was much more spacious with a sweeping staircase and indoor balcony.
