Beautiful morning, great crew. Dive Master Maddie did a fantastic job.
I have always wanted to get my scuba diving certification and no better place to do it than in Marathon, FL. I completed my eLearning and then hit the pool session with my instructor David who was teaching me and another student. David was extremely knowledgable about diving, and helped us quickly gain the skills to stay safe and enjoy our dives in the open water. From the moment we stepped into Captain Hook’s, we knew we were in good hands. David H took three nervous beginners and turned us into confident divers. Between mastering our full-face masks and earning our Open Water certification, he kept us laughing, learning, and focused. His advice on diving gear was spot-on—no upselling, just honest insight. Captain Hook’s doesn’t feel like a dive center; it feels like joining a family.
Really cool view of the water. Amazing fish tank outside filled with various species of fish and sharks 🦈! Inside they have cool T-shirts, snacks,fishing poles and lures. I would definitely recommend going here if you are either cruising around in your boat or going out fishing.
Captain Malcolm and Captain Jeff were excellent. Very thorough with the information about the reef we were on. My wife’s first ocean experience and they made it enjoyable. We will definitely be back
