For $210, we were placed at a corner table on the top deck..by the highly trafficked kitchen staff stairs, where we waited 30 minutes to be served and were ultimately told our waiter's section was on the lower level of the boat and "they had forgotten about us." Our food - a slab of cold wet overcooked prime rib, and a bizzare surf and turf featuring overcooked scallops in a crusty mushroom cream sauce - was complimented by two of the (wrong) frozen drinks with no alcohol in them. Great sunset tour!
I would not recommend Captain Bill’s sightseeing cruise. I cannot comment on the dinner cruise, but the sightseeing trip was a very disappointing experience. Guests were not even allowed to stand momentarily to take a picture, and there was constant monitoring—even for children—if they tried to stand. The one-hour ride felt restrictive and unenjoyable, and many passengers, myself included, seemed bored. I even overheard others saying they were “counting down the minutes” until it was over.
Literally Don't Waste Your $$$ on this horrible boat ride. The boat itself is run down ,freezing,with bathrooms no better than Coach on airplanes. The food was in edible. The Surf & Turf consists of over cooked rubber like Prime Rib and Canned Cream of Mushroom soup with 3 barely cooked scallops The Salad was mostly iceberg lettuce,the soup was way too salty faux bisque. The cheesecake was mediocre and I had two cups of coffee because the boat was freezing. They served drinks in plastic cups and that was extra. We had a part... read more
