Their Putinesca sauce is wonderful.
Worst customer service in existence and so disrespectful towards women. Do not do business with these absolutely horrible owners.
I dropped by to pick up local farm fresh eggs from Bedford, MA in an attempt to avoid the salmonella outbreak, and walked out with a bundle of dinner fixings: squid ink papardelle (see photo for the various cuts they make for the squid ink pasta), a couple of frozen pesto sauces, and difficult-to-find Sardinian pasta. Support your local pasta slinger!
I endorse Capones. I buy eggs from Chip the Chicken there, the House Blend coffee is the BEST in BOSTON. The staff/owners are super nice and always happy to give a taste or advice. The concentrated tomato in the little bottles at the front are superb for bringing in rich flavor QUICKLY to soups/sauces or Bloody Marys. I am so glad they are here and provide ready made food - read home made.
The gentleman at the door / counter was very friendly and helped me with how much Pasta and jars I would need for my family's dinner. The pasta is AMAZING! The price was very good and the food turned out outstanding! I recommend this local shop for your next dinner planning stop!
