I called John two years ago to refinish some furniture. I wasn't happy with one of the pieces but during that period my husband passed away, I had shoulder replacement surgery and I took a job in Western NC working with storm survivors of Helene and Chatal. I didn't have time to think about my furniture pieces. When I returned home I called John about my coffee table. John repaired a door on a hutch that my grandparents owned many years ago. He was on time, friendly, professional and his work was wonderful. His price was fair and a lot lower (and the process a lot less complicated) than other antique repair places. I will definitely call on John and Capital Restoration again!
Great work repairing/restoring a dressing stool - made it stronger than when it was new. Good price and prompt turnaround.
John was recommended to me by one of my clients. He has repaired and restored several pieces for me. His work is top notch, and I wouldn't think of letting anyone else touch my antiques. He also does a beautiful job of repainting furniture and giving it new life and a new look!
EDIT FOLLOWING RESPONSE FROM BUSINESS: I was a potential customer. I called to ask for a quote on a simple repair, and tried to explain the tricky part was that I was not the owner of the piece.
