If you use Discover Card for the quarterly 5% cash back bonuses on specific purchases, check your Capital One app to see the actual cash back bonus percentages you earned. Most of the charges I made that should’ve earned 5% actually earned either 1% or .25% - even for the same vendor or restaurant, service, etc. during the same 3-month period (a few were correctly posted at 5%). Will not help me till anything post and I called them right after it happened. And just called now and no help so I cant eat or pay bills. For 2 more days
Absolutely horrible experience. After receiving a notice of suspicious activity on my account and replying that it was not me making the charge, Capital One still let the charge go through. This was also after I contacted them, spoke with several people about making sure that no charges could go through with virtual cards or what they refer to is coins. They let a charge go through on a card that I did not even have and it was not even activated. I can’t say I would ever recommend them to anyone.
Needs more branches, no in person auto loan cash payment options
The merger with Discover Card is not going well. They are treating customers poorly with this merger. It would not be a good idea to get a Discover card anymore.
