I called the bank to see what is required for a 3rd party to deposit a check. This branch informed me they can’t and transferred me to customer service. The deposit I’m trying to make exceeds my mobile app daily limit, so that’s out of the question. Customer Service informed me this branch is 100% capable of depositing a check and informed me of the required documents. Terrible service and rude clerks.
Capital one is a joke of a bank. After being told we have to go to a branch to deposit a check, it was made out to multiple people and ids would need to be checked, we all drove the 40min to this branch, seeing as it’s the only one in the area. To be told we have to go to a branch with teller services, even though we weren’t cashing it, we wanted it deposited to our account, a teller would have to over ride it since we weren’t all on the same account.
