31 Jan 2026. Sure would have been nice to receive an email that the facility was closed today. I also saw several other people drive up only to find out the place was closed. Operating hours on the internet said it was open. Why have an email on file if you don't utilize it.
This place has been a lifeline for me. I’m living in NC temporarily and needed a safe place to work out, regain my strength, and find healthy ways to process grief and heal after a traumatic life experience. Healthplex has provided a peaceful, friendly, no-pressure, yet energetic environment to rebuild my physical and emotional health. The classes and staff are great, and there are so many different areas and equipment to choose from. No contracts and very affordable.
I had a horrible experience with The Healthplex, particularly with Marcus Martin. I applied for assistance through the scholarship program and provided all of the documents requested. I went to check on my application several times in person and actually met with Mr. Martin every time. Each time he claimed my emails were never received by him although I contacted him regularly between 2/2024 and 7/2024 to follow up. Love this place me and my husband have been members for years! Never had any problems with any staff members.They are caring and willing to help anytime we need them also very polite.They are so good at keeping the area's clean and I love that. Thank you for a wonderful experience and your all your support every time we go through the door! If I could I would give them 10 stars 🏋🏻♀️
