I have a giant mountain bike that I converted to a ebike years ago with an electric rear wheel, as it has been sitting in my shed for quite a while I decided to ride it to work for fitness. Ordered a new battery for my Pedal Lightning on Wednesday afternoon. My battery arrived by Aust Post Friday morning. Excellent. Charged the battery and fitted to my bike. Drop in fit. Old battery dropped half a bar in 300metres,new one,20k and still on the blue light. Cap Rouge great to deal with,good product,highly recommended.
Run away! I was disgusted by Cap Rouge's reluctance to help me as an end customer of a product they'd sold. They protested that accountability lay with Cargo Cycles, but under ACL, there's no difference. They'd sold a motor that failed, and it was on them to service the warranty, whether through Cargo Cycles or directly to me. In this capacity, they gave me months of bare minimum communication: knowledge articles with zero explanation. They acted in bad faith.
