Was thrilled to book a same-day massage to address a muscle injury I have. Drove 20 minutes into town for it. Turned out to be a one-room operation. No response to my multiple knocks on the door. I’m giving it two stars only because others rate it highly.
I went on vacation there a few weeks ago and booked a one hour massage. I arrived about 15 minutes late and asked them if I could still get my massage (even if it had to be cut short since I was late) but they told me they had sent the masseuse home and “couldn’t make them stay.” They still charged me the entire full $180 price for the hour and when I tried to dispute it, they lied to the merchant and told them they were “willing and able to provide the service” but that I was a “no show.” Completely unprofessional. Facing a rainy day, I booked a facial with Christy with an add-on scalp massage and hand/foot treatment. First, the space, the spa room and the coffee shop at the front, is charming and comfortable. Perfect temp and the soothing music blocks all street noise. Christy is very knowledgeable about skin and skin care and made a few alterations to the facial to address my needs.
