My cousin and I found this jewel of small town Georgia by accident looking for a liquor store while on I-16, and what we found was an atmosphere that is a true representation of Southern hospitality, Georgia style. What was once a liquor store had been changed into the coziest bar I have ever been to in my life. We were outsiders, but by the time we left, we felt as if we were regulars.

What a night last night was! We're from NW Georgia, passing through in the semi. We did stop at Grady's truck stop first, but the diner was closed. So we dropped the trailer and bobtailed over to Ray's. There is parking up front and in the back. We were greeted very nicely by the bartender - I *think* her name was Vanessa?
