Very friendly staff and extremely helpful. If he doesn't have an answer for you, he is very quick to try and find one or at the very least tell you who you can talk to. Our personal situation is that a couple of years ago, we bought a new trailer. 4 deep cycle sixes, and some solar has been more than enough in the past. Personally, I would recommend a smart shunt for anybody. It was extremely helpful in what was using power and how much. We now have ten batteries and 900 watts of solar. Went in for warranty because under a load test my 10 month old battery was holding 9v. They hooked the voltage meter up to it and it was sitting at 11.9v. They refused to do a proper test and said it was not getting charged properly. I had explained that I just drove there for 30 from out of town on the highway and my alternator was putting out 50 amps at an idle and just had the whole system professionally looked over for winter. Can not say enough good things about CE in Red Deer. Purchased a battery in 2023 and by the beginning of 2025 it was dead. Still unsure if its a battery issue or my car but they were able to warranty the battery and get me on the road again!! Very knowledgeable staff and fair prices.
