I purchased a winter coat from Canada Goose about 2–3 years ago and have already experienced significant insulation loss. The warranty team only addressed the loss of insulation in the sleeves but would not repair the rest of the coat, despite a lifetime warranty. For a premium coat at this price point, insulation failure this early is unacceptable. After a significant amount of back and forth without a satisfactory resolution, I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed.
I went to the store today since I had a defect on my jacket after only two weeks. The person I talked to turned out to be the manager, and was very friendly and understanding and immediately confirmed he can exchange it without shipping it in or anything (which is the usual procedure at CG once it was worn). Since the same color in my size was sold out he offered to have it shipped or pick any other color they have, which I did, and I left the store with a new jacket a little later.
