Great summer option for the kids, with numerous locations. The staff and directors are caring and responsive. My kids are always safe and happy at this camp.

Allie, Yolanda, and Matt are the directors of CRU at East Rock. They are the most thoughtful, responsive, knowledgeable, and professional people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. My daughter has been in the Tiny Tots program for two summers now. She is mildly asthmatic and takes a while to warm up to people. Over her first summer, she made new friends and really opened up to the CRU community. Her second year, she went on her first field trip riding the bus and grew tremendously. The counselors at this camp are not properly trained or paid enough to care about the kids. They use timeouts excessively, so yes you are paying for them to sit out of whole activites like slip and slides, sports games, and this is as a whole group. My son had a horrible experience with the counselor who bullied him (6 years old). They are kids who are on some kind of 16 year old power trip. The camp overall is not organized, my son hated every single and would cry. He now refuses to go to back to camp because of this horrid... read more

This is my kids 3rd year at Camps 'R' Us; sucks I didn't enroll them sooner. I love hearing their stories at the end of the day. Never a dull moment. The staff is helpful and friendly.
