Very poor communication. We ordered the books before Term 1, but received no email or SMS when they arrived for Term 2. If I hadn’t followed up myself, I would still not know that the books had already arrived. We were later told they had been there for quite some time. No notification, no explanation. Placed an online order on Thursday, requested cancellation on Monday, I was told it’s too late. Called again on Friday, Aus Post still hasn’t picked up from the warehouse. Why couldn’t this be cancelled on Monday?
I was denied to walk-in book buys at 4.45. The store closes at 5pm. They don’t have enough staff to cater the crowd. The team member there did mention that this happens very often and still their website doesn’t give any warnings. They are not at all customer focused. They should value people’s time and provide them notice of such possibility.
