Camp Regis Applejack, or CRAJ, became a home away from home for me for 8 summers. The lake, campfires, Bunk Day, Olympics, Polar Bear Swim, Whale Swims, overnight canoe trips, hiking the ADK mtns, JAG, the tennis courts, mtn biking, rainy day pavilion movies, animal care at Nature, sailing, waterskiing, sneaking into staff laundry for soda cans, the creepy main lodge moose, off-camp AJ2 trips, and the occasional ice cream excursion to Donnelly's. I went to this camp in the 90s. I learned so much. And as a kid of color I had a great experience. Bacon and coffee cake on Sunday morning. Fried chicken on the field in the afternoon. Wonderful.

This place is magical. Traditional summer camp and a wonderful place with tons of opportunities to detox from city life and digital media. Connect to real people from all over the world, make friends for life and live in the middle of the beautiful Adirondacks and explore the nature. Bushcrafting, canoeing, hiking, sailing, tennis, football and arts & crafts are just few of the activities you can try here.
