I went to Camp Michigania for the Bear River Writers Conference. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and diligent, particularly the dining hall staff. I was surprised by the quality and variety of the food served there. The grounds are beautiful and though I spent most of my time in writing workshops and attending readings, I could tell that there were plenty of other activities in and around Lake Walloon.
