Went for Eagle Week and everything was great. The nights were freezing, but it is usually warmer (and the daytime temps are usually hotter). I didn’t get to go to Aquatics, but I heard the lake was extra brisk and refreshing this week. My merit badges were all great (especially Personal Management MB), though having more functioning stoves for Cooking would ease the chaos quite a bit. Overall it was awesome! Got hit by baseball bats and kicked best experience of my life also broke my pelvis climbing
It had been about 30 years since I'd been to this place and it was like learning about it all over again. There have been a lot of infrastructure improvements over the years, and they have added a full observatory Aunt flushing toilets at each campsite. It is amazing to see what the collective power of an organization can accomplish. And that's just the facilities.
