Situated in forested acreage. Facilities for many people. Kind and supportive staff.
Unfortunately cannot recommend this camp at all. We were so excited to have a wonderful summer camp experience here, but it turned out to be one of the hardest and worst parts of our summer. It is important for parents to note that in the cabin there are 2 counselors, one is maybe 18 or 19 and one that is more like 16. When an issue arose in my child's cabin (ultimately very normal 7th grade girl things), the counselors were not equipped to handle the situation. You probably already know Camp Cullen’s facilities are top-notch. The campus is beautiful, spacious, well-kept, and located near a gorgeous lake, exactly what you would hope for in Texas. But what truly makes Camp Cullen special is its people. The communication before our arrival was outstanding, and the in-person welcome was just as warm. Nancy always greeted us with a smile and was incredibly accommodating with every change I made to help the event flow better.
