Upon rethinking, I don't know why I was so annoyed with the quality of my item when I should have expected for it to be the way it was for a literal gas mask. I think the mask itself, despite the markings of light usage, was in good condition. The filter was decent enough but I am a bit bummed about the paint being rubbed off in areas so I could display it better. And the anti-fog films being in unusable condition is really not a big deal, I have larger ones I can just cut to size anyway.
