After looking at many retirement homes my mom Janet moved into Chartwell Camelia in April 2024. The building is beautiful with tons of amenities, the staff are outstanding - they are so caring and kind to my mom and the food is amazing. My mom is in a studio apartment that is very spacious. She loves it there and the building is outstanding value for the money.
Chartwell Camelia truly stands out as a community the promotes well-being, social connection and enriched living for seniors. as Safe care Home support, we proudly provide compassionate care to residents within building, An amazing caring staff to collaborate with them inside building. We highly recommend Chartwell Camellia to all our clients and seniors in our communities for its vibrant community and excellent amenities.
I came with my family for a tour of the new Camellia home by Chartwell. The team that works there couldn’t have made us feel more welcome, from the welcome message by the sales manager, to the general manager coming in to say hello and chatting with us. The food director brought out some wonderful treats for us to enjoy while on our tour, everyone made us feel so cared for and we left the home with all the information that we needed to make the transition for my family.
I'm so happy to have my Dad living there. The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home (the residents are very friendly too). Wendy has gone above and beyond for our family during a difficult time and Drew who is in charge of Food & Beverage is amazing! The building and units are brand new, it's a really beautiful place. I want to live there SO bad but I'm not old enough. I highly recommend the Camellia residence!
Chartwell team is fantastic - approachable and fun Varun, GM of Chartwell Camellia, is amazing. Drew, who is in charge of dining is wonderful and always open to suggestions. Jennifer, LPM , brings a lot of fun activities and asks for suggestions from residents. Love the community here - made new friends.
