We just bought a condo here and I love the place! Besides the condo being everything we wanted, the neighborhood itself is quiet, feels safe, it is clean and close to the beautiful Mtn House Creek Trail where we have been going for daily walks ever since we moved in. Also, close to the shopping center on Mtn House Parkway, Central Park and the library.
DO NOT RENT OR BUY A HOME HERE! Any other neighborhood in this city is MILES better than this dump. You are not allowed to park in front of your own home. They will tow you for simply parking in front of your own home. They expect you to park half a mile outside the complex on the street. The path back to the complex is extremely dark at night and often blocked by large coyotes. Horrible HOA, can’t even park in front of your own home without being towed and paying $400 just to get it back. Awful, predatory management. Please, don’t buy, rent or even visit here. Any other home in Mountain House is better than this pathetic excuse for a ‘community’. I’m breaking my lease early just to get away from this awful place.
This place is terrible, especially their guest parking policy. Got my car towed within 2 days (even though that’s their policy). Someone really needs to talk to the HOA to make some changes because the home owners that live here do not want this happening to their guests. Whoever is on the board is not representing what the owners really want. Parking is not an issue with the small population that lives here. Would not recommend to buy, rent, or be a guest here.
