I’ve been to several Christmas markets over the years, including ones in Baltimore, Seattle, and Vancouver, and the Cambria Christmas Market was next on my list since it’s only a few hours away. Overall, this place was fantastic and absolutely worth visiting during the holiday season. We went for the first time in 2015. The lights were beautiful and greatly varied in topics. They were not too flashy or pulsating colors to trigger headaches, but just calm, steady strings of lights and shapes. There were some cut outs and places for photo ops. We visited for the first time in December 2025 and were blown away by it! It looks inconspicuous at first but once you enter the actual light show, it’s truly an explosion of beautiful lights. We walked around for about 2 hours! The food an drinks at the market are pretty good too.
This is a must-visit place whenever you’re in Cambria around Christmas holidays. I absolutely loved the Christmas market, and the way the entire transportation system is managed is impressive. I visited toward the end of the year, and it was completely worth it. Although the weather wasn’t very cooperative and I had to carry an umbrella from time to time, I truly enjoyed the overall experience and the charm of the town itself.
