I visited Camberwell Cane a couple of months ago, (purely for advice with a sentimental small item) after finding it quite challenging to find such an expert in the cane/rattan arena. Angelo was extremely generous with his time, and shared his practical expertise generously. Years of tradition and knowledge has clearly been passed down, look no further for making a purchase or repairs!
We took our 2 Carver chairs and 4 Bentwood chairs to Camberwell Cane for new Rattan and staining to match the wood. The chairs are over 30 years old and they have come up looking fantastic; especially the Carver chairs with the rattan backs. We were thrilled with the friendly and excellent service from Amit . Went into Camberwell Cane with a childrens cane chair that needs some love. The process involved was explained carefully to me. The cost is very reasonable. Cant wait until it is done. I do love a bit of cane and rattan. The service was great! Very friendly and patient. Apologies i cant remember their names. I am sure Angelo was one
Angelo has brought my grandmother's wicker can chaise longue back to life, from a derelict unstable eyesore to the elegant dame she once was. I am so thrilled to rekindle my childhood memories with her reinstated in my living area, looking gorgeous whilst still retaining the essential aged patina form the early 1900's. Angelo is indeed a master of his craft.
