Ordered a Rozalea plant for a friend and paid extra for a pretty cache pot. The cache pot was one reason I ordered this particular plant. What my friend received was a different cache pot, an uglier one… I was never notified this would be substituted and all Calyx offered was a future discount. Definitely deceiving and I would think twice before I would purchase from Calyx Flowers again. This was really wrong.

Flower pot arrived cracked in half. Calyx refused to replace or refund. Beware!

I ordered Calyx flowers and paid $40 for expedited shipping, with proof of payment and delivery promised on 5/21/2021. The flowers arrived on 5/26/2021, mostly dead, with a gel pak that had leaked all over the shipping box and dripped all over the recipient! Despite giving Calyx three tries to respond to this floral disaster, I got no response. I've filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau and notified my charge account to deny payment.

Ordered a bouquet of flowers off the website picture for $120.00. The flowers that were delivered were not even close the the picture that I ordered them from. I emailed the company pictures of the bouquet that was delivered in which a five year old could have put together a better arrangement. The owner Kap Wallingford emailed back the most ridiculous response stating "This bouquet is lovely and I see they had their own decorative eye. I purchased an arrangement for a 90 yr old friend. Vase was shattered in transit. I submitted photos to prove it. Like another review I was offered only $20 refund for the vase via email. Calyx does not have telephone Customer Service. The email rep had the audacity to state how "stunning" the flowers were. Not so when they are delivered amidst shards of glass. Absolutely no effort to resolve this in a compassionate manner. Never again.

I used this company to send Christmas flowers to my infirm mother. They arrived without a card and a shattered vase. The company's inadequate solution was to refund the cost of the vase. I won't use this service again.
