I think this place felt like a hidden gem! It's a great place to learn some history of Calvert County and the lighthouses that surround the waters. We did a free tour of the lighthouse outside of the museum and there are so many interesting artifacts and lessons to learn there. There are a lot of amphibians and sea creatures to check out and they even have an area where you can gently touch the skates in an enclosure. I loved coming here and I would do it again and again.
