Best estate planning attorney in Baton Rouge !
Find someone else!!!! This man has assisted in dragging out my mother’s estate for 3 years. He is either incompetent or complicit in a scheme to continue to bill an estate that could have been completed 2 years ago. These people continue to ignore a judgement of possession which was signed by court.
Mark and his staff were extremely helpful in processing my father's estate. They were knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend this firm!
Find someone else. Not responsive at all as representation for an unresponsive executor who is also an attorney. They continue to pay themselves as nothing gets done. Heirs can’t get any information and succession is going on 2 years.
Do NOT use Mark Callender for your attorney! My mother paid him over $1500 to do her Will. When she requested a minor change, he suggested she “find another Atty”, saying “he didn’t have time”. My mother did find another ATTY, but, he refused to give her the original signed documents. His older secretary “claims to have already given originals”- NOT TRUE- she gave copies, NOT originals.
