Beautiful looking umbrella BUT California Umbrella doesn't really stand behind their products. I had the umbrella for about a yr when the crank assembly failed. I contacted CU customer service reps and was told that there is no fix for the crank. The frame and crank are preassembled outside the US and no repair was possible...very strange. Anything could be fixed. Anyway, the rep said I would need to purchase a new frame...$330. The umbrella was about $500 and at that price, should last longer than 1 yr. We love our California umbrella.
I’m very impressed with the quality of my California Umbrella. The fabric is very durable, the stitching is strong, and the frame is sturdy yet easy to operate. It is very high-end and adds such a stylish touch to my outdoor space. Even in windy conditions it holds up beautifully, which gives me confidence in the craftsmanship. You can tell it’s made to last, and it has quickly become one of my favorite pieces for enjoying time outside. Highly recommend!
We love our 2 umbrellas we got a year ago. They are holding up well to desert heat and wind. Our order shipped right away.
