Best Instructor at California Tactical Academy - Ron Clayton California Tactical Academy is an amazing range, but what makes it truly stand out is Ron Clayton. He is hands down one of the best instructors I’ve ever trained with—professional, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. Ron breaks everything down clearly, focuses on safety, and gives you the confidence and skills to improve fast. If you’re coming to CTA, do yourself a favor and ask for Ron—you won’t find a better instructor!

The target arrangements allow for all levels of training, from casual plinking, to warming up for a weekend competition. Don't want to ever stop coming here

This place is more then just a shooting range! The people working there are amazing, they helped perfect my shot placement, zero in my rifle at 100 yards, and checked in on me periodically to see if I needed spotting assistant or advice! They prioritize safety and fun while teaching you what you need to know to safely execute an accurate shot! Highly recommend working with Tom or Mike! Two great teachers! I will be back!
