Overpriced but will do in a pinch I think California Gifts is kind of overpriced and they don't really have anything unique, just the typical cheesy "California" or "Sacramento" souviners. They would be good for someone wanting to find a quick souviner, but if you had the time, more unique items could probably be found somewhere else. It's not very child friendly either.
