If I could give zero stars, I would! Do not book!!! My friend went to Amanda for a boudoir shoot and they came out beautiful! I contacted her right away, booked a session, and gave her my deposit. The week of my shoot I didn't hear from her. I decided to contact her: left her a DM on Instagram (since I didn't have her number). No response. She cancels 10 minutes before the appointment and stops responding. DON’T book with her. Especially if you are driving a long distance to do so😒. Still waiting for my refund. Won’t refund me and ignores me.

I was in San Diego on work this past January and as I was on my way to the studio (which is over an hour away) she sends me a text saying her studio is leaking and would need to reschedule. I don’t live in California. She also said I’d have to pay and additional $299 or something in addition to the $199 I already paid on the website (apparently the rates change daily). Since she cancel last minute she agreed to a refund, I’ve contacted her several times for my $199 refund and I’ve received ZERO correspondence on it. Terrible... read more

My wife did a shoot with California Boudoir in January of 2017. In our experience, scheduling was fairly upfront, and easy. My wife commented that she was comfortable and the woman who did the makeup, and the woman who took the pictures made her very comfortable, and that they were very professional. I want to say I remember we got the pictures back pretty quickly, there wasn't a huge wait time, and they came out fantastic. California Boudior gets an A+ Grade from us.

This is a scam. Do not give your $99 deposit because there is no shoot. Much like the other women who have posted reviews, I too wish I had done my research before agreeing to a "complimentary" Body Love session that never happened. I don't know how Amanda keeps up these charades and does all this work to scam vulnerable women for a mere $99. I hope this review prevents other women from getting duped.
