This ride is part of my childhood, much like the Log Ride across from this attraction. I absolutely love this ride! Kid friendly, however if loud noises scare your kids, just beware of the blasting scene at the end. For those who don't know, this ride got a major renovation in 2014 and it is still holding up very well today! Strong recommendation for this ride! Also huge shoutout to one of the DYNOMITE ride operators, Chris! Super enthusiastic and very friendly!

First time visiting Knott's Berry Farm on 12/12/2025. This was a fun and gentle ride. The explosion at the end was very mild and not scary to us. It was a bit too dark to see everything inside, but that was what mines were like. The animated figures reminded me a bit of Disneyland's Pirates of the Caribbean. I liked that multiple ethnicities were represented. But I could not hear clearly what anyone was saying - maybe if the speakers were on the cars and activated when it approached those areas people could hear it better. M... read more
