shutter mess Quality is terrible. This is my third time using Calico Corners for custom items and each project had a problem. Curtains - did not fit rod properly even though I brought in rod to measure. Duvet cover and bedspread were to heavy to use on bed. Poor Service I went into Calico Corners to find fabric to reupholster an ottoman and received very poor customer service. They have an appointment sign up sheet and the sales associate taking names was extremely rude and condescending. Most unhappy I chose calico corners to reupholster my couch and was terribly disappointed with the finished result. It was very expensive to do and when it came back with wavy welting along the top of the cushions, they did not want to address the issue. All they could say was i should keep playing with the cushions and they were sure it would work itself out. MUST SEE! The name does not do it justice... they sell high-end as well as fashionable (gasp) fabrics and furniture. Who knew?! It's busy every time I go there (remarkable) but I always get friendly help if I ask. Sometimes I just like to look around and get inspired. (Apparently, they take appointments now, which is a huge help.) They don't offer full service "design" (paint, wallpaper or lighting, etc) but they specialize in custom window treatments and they don't charge an hourly design fee. They know their stuff. Bad service I have visited this store twice and each time found their service was poor. One designer I spoke with, clearly was not that knowledgable in design.On the other occasion I was virtually ignored.
Wonderful You will find a wonderful selection of fabrics and more to adorn your windows. They have so many great choices that it will be hard to choose between them. That's where their very knowledgeable staff comes in. They'll help you with your decisions - telling you what you need to know about a certain fabric type or window covering that will help you with your choices. Their prices are great and they also offer discounts so this is definitely the place to shop if you're planning on sprucing things up around the house.
