Real estate broker and mortgage broker here. I've done 1000's of mortgages and New Rez took over my loan for my home and didn't pay the summer taxes that WERE paid for in the escrow. I have called 3 times now, sent 5 emails, and been assured they know they messed up and have yet to pay my taxes. They are beyond unhelpful and I am reaching out to the CFPB next. If I didn't catch the mistake my home could be foreclosed on. Absolutely livid with them. And yes, we had our payments on auto pay.
STAY AWAY!!! Worst service I have ever received. Requested my PMI to be removed from my mortgage 5 months ago, sent them a check for an appraisal. They cashed my check within 5 days of receiving it 4 months ago. Still nothing. I’ve contacted them 6 times about this and I get the same answer. We never received your check. I send them the canceled check info and they respond our PMI department will be in contact with you within 5-7 days. No call, no email, no letters. What a predatory group of cons. All about charging extra money, and when you bring up the charges, it's all just a waiting game so they can continue to charge you more. Accepted my payment to get charges dropped (okay...?) and now it can take another 30 days for the process to even begin. You serious? AVOID AVOID AVOID
