I’m pretty new to quilting and sewing, but I have quickly become a fabrioholic and going to a lot of different shops. Cali Quilt is absolutely the best one around and definitely worth the drive if you live in the Bay Area. This is not a little quilt shop. Petty Quilt Co.
This used to be my favorite quilting shop in the Sacramento area. However, they seem to be stocking more and more minky fabric and non-fabric items and reducing the amount of regular cotton fabric they carry. Also, the lighting in the store is terrible, which makes it difficult to accurately assess the colors of fabrics. I think I need to find a new favorite quilt shop.
I want anyone interested in Minky to buy from Cali Quilt Co. Do it! The cuts were so straight and easy to work with. I made 15 blankets and 10 pillow kits for Christmas gifts this year and everyone was so appreciative of them. This Business is so awesome and easy to purchase from. Thank you to all who work there.
