They completely let me fall through the cracks. Never heard back from a case worker or got a formal denial or proper paperwork explaining why. Very hard to get in touch with anyone who can actually help. Still trying to get in touch to see what can be done. I'm actually shocked at how haphazard this service is when people's livelihoods depend on it...
I am completely tapped out of money and I need food. This is the third time they have refused me this when I have known people who are in better condition and a better place than I am and those people get get money for help for food I have to jump through loopholes in order to have a little bit of money to get food. I don't even know why I bother with Alberta Work support, or whatever they are called. Every time I try to phone the 2 numbers that I have, I get nowhere. I keep getting asked to press #5 to talk to someone. Each time I do, it doesn't work. The voice keeps saying, "I'm sorry, I did receive your input", then I get disconnected, after being told, I am being connected to someone. This needs to be fixed. Not sure if anyone else has this problem. I have been trying to get connected with someone, for 3+ hours.
