I like aish and adap dose help me pay my rent on time and get groceries but sometimes I don't receive it after my paystub sent in cause I didn't got it on August 26 2026, is there a way to receive August 26 pay after 6 day past?
I’ve dealt with nothing but disrespect since no longer having a personal/direct aish worker. They hang up on me when they cannot answer valid questions, im in pain. What is the essence of calling an emergency an “emergency” when there are conditions? Doesn’t that contradict what the purpose of what an emergency is …? Why even have an “emergency benefit line” or even have workers that cannot approve emergencies, while even during working hours. Such nonsense.
I am currently receiving AISH and have been actively trying to obtain employment. I recently succeeded in getting a legitimate job interview. Instead of being unable to find work, my problem is that I have a disability-related transportation barrier that makes it difficult for me to physically get to the interview. This place honestly needs to train their team again on how to talk to disabled people. went in and was met with one of the RUDEST ever. if you’re working in a field with vulnerable people the last thing you need to be is upright with a nasty attitude. the worker told my aunt “i’m disabled too so don’t give me that crap” when she was just explaining how difficult it is for her being disabled and not knowing why her payments stopped because she needs it. they cut off payments and weren’t even telling us why until we had to beg... read more
